Reverend Leonard Wilkinson and Evangelist Carmel Wilkinson

The Evangelism Ministry of Destiny Baptist Church is committed to spreading the Gospel and demonstrating Christ's love through outreach and service. This ministry embodies the church's mission to bring hope, encouragement, and spiritual care to those in need.

Two devoted supporters of the ministry, Reverend Leonard Wilkinson and Evangelist Carmel Wilkinson lead this charge by regularly visiting the sick, rehab centers, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and hospitals. During these visits, they hold church services, pray, sing hymns, and offer communion to the sick and downtrodden. These efforts provide spiritual nourishment, comfort, and a sense of community to individuals who may otherwise feel isolated or forgotten.

On first Sundays, Reverend and Mrs. Wilkinson are active participants within the church’s congregation, contributing to worship, prayer, song, and other ministry activities. For the remainder of each month, they dedicate themselves to this mission of service, unless a special program or service warrants their presence at the church. Their dedication exemplifies the ministry's commitment to living out faith in action and meeting people where they are, both spiritually and physically.

Through this work, Reverend Wilkinson and Evangelist Wilkinson extend the reach of  Destiny Baptist Church, touching lives beyond its walls and fulfilling its mission to serve as Christ’s hands and feet in the world.
